Prestigious magazines “Wine Spectator” (USA) and “Decanter” (UK) devote extensive reports to the DOQ Priorat and its wines in their October and November numbers, respectively.
“Wine Spectator” releases a detailed article signed by its executive editor Thomas Matthews, who visited DOQ Priorat. He made a tasting at the Regulatory Council, in Torroja del Priorat, where he spent an entire afternoon evaluating wines. “Wine Spectator” presents a first report entitled “Priorat pioneers” that places the reader in the history and evolution of the appellation until today.
British magazine “Decanter” brings out a special issue on the occasion of its 40th anniversary that includes an special DOQ Priorat article by Master of Wine, Sarah Jane Evans. British review describes the current time of the appellation of origin and refers to the “Village Wines” project. In total, eight pages of the special 40th Anniversary of “Decanter” dedicated to the DOQ Priorat.
